- Solid brass clasps & triggers: Internal springs jamming, clasp detachment, or hook fractures.
- Welded D-rings & O-rings: Any weld separation or ring deformation under pulling force.
- Rivets & fasteners: Loose or popped rivets on collars, harnesses, and leads.
- Hardware corrosion failure: Rust or mechanical seizing caused by marine saltwater or mud.
- Structural seam splitting: Webbing box-stitches pulling apart under normal walking and running.
Not Covered
- •Chewing & puppy gnawing: No webbing or leather on earth is tooth-proof. (However, contact us for our 30% Chew Replacement discount).
- •Natural brass patina: Raw solid brass naturally darkens and gains character over time with air and moisture.
- •Normal fabric abrasions: Cosmetic scuffing or surface dirt from trail runs and briars.
- •Third-party modifications: Cutting webbing or adding non-DoggosGear hardware.

Do I need the original receipt or packaging?
No original packaging is needed. As long as you have the order number or the email used when purchasing, we can look up your record instantly.
What if the product was given to me as a gift?
The guarantee remains fully valid. Just provide the name or email of the person who gifted it, or let us know and we'll help verify the authentic DoggosGear hallmark on the hardware.
What happens if my specific colorway has been discontinued?
If an exact color match is unavailable, we will offer you the closest matching shade from our current lineup, or allow you to choose an equivalent upgraded product.
